Open a Station's link to see its inputs and results. Sign in to run it or upload
your own input files. An invite-only Station requires the email address its
author invited.

## Choose the take to carry forward

In a stepped Station, the selected take supplies a result for the next step. Selecting an existing take does not generate another one. New take requests new work. Inspect the estimate before Make or Remake: earlier missing or out-of-date steps may also need to run. Valid retained work can be reused during supported recovery; changing relevant inputs or version can require new execution. The illustration uses two authored example images.

A wider plant portrait and a close-up provide visibly different existing takes. The chosen thumbnail reappears in Step 2’s reference input; selecting it does not invent a new Step 2 output.

## Prepare a run

Fill required fields and check the settings you care about. Uploaded file
inputs offer replacement and removal controls. For a list of files, the numbered
order is the order passed to the workflow.

Read the current estimate before running. Estimates can change with the inputs
and can be incomplete; a **+** indicates additional work is not fully priced.
An authorization or available-credit requirement can be larger than a typical
completed run's displayed cost. Your account pays the applicable costs, including
any community node fees.

## Inspect and keep results

Some Stations divide the workflow into steps. **Make** generates a step's
result; **Remake** runs it again, and **New take** requests another variation.
Select an existing take to choose the result the next step uses. Selecting a
take is different from generating one. Use **Next** to continue when offered.

Review the estimate for the intended action. Running a later step can also
include earlier missing or out-of-date work. Changes to relevant earlier
inputs or takes can make later work stale; do not assume only the visible
step will execute.

Progress appears while work runs. Open a result full size for its player or
viewer and use Download to save it on your device. Successful output files also
go into your Files library under the Station's folder.

**Your runs** reopens saved runs and their inputs. A Station retains your recent
run history, so download or organize work you need to keep independently of that
list. **Reset** restores published input defaults and clears the current
selection; it does not delete saved runs.

## Recover from a failed run

Read the error first. When recovery is available, use **Edit inputs** to correct
an exposed setting. **Resume** starts another attempt and reuses saved results
still valid for the same published version and current inputs. Otherwise the
control reads **Retry**. The run control is unavailable when credits are too low.

Changed inputs rerun affected work. Missing files, unsupported values, older
runs without checkpoints, and unfinished compound operations can require work
to run again. A new published version needs a new run. When offered, **Start
over** makes a fresh attempt.

Work already performed can remain chargeable even if the overall run fails.
Reused nodes do not execute again, but the remaining paid work still requires
credits.

## Ask the author for help

When a diagnostic is available, open **Error details → Copy for Station author**
to copy the version and run references. The diagnostic avoids your input values and private provider
payloads. Copying does not send it; choose where to share it yourself. Review
anything else you add to the message before sending private source material.

## Check reuse before another attempt

**Fresh run:** supply inputs, inspect the estimate, and run the live version
under your account. **Resume:** reuse eligible retained work for the same
version and relevant inputs; changed or missing work can execute again.
**Keep:** download or organize useful files independently of the recent-run
list. Earlier completed work can remain chargeable after a failure.

## Checks and next steps

The current history retains the most recent 50 runs. Download or organize
important media independently of that recent-run list. A completed result
and a temporary signed download link are different things; reopen the result
when you need a fresh supported link.

Before Resume or Retry, inspect the failed step, current exposed inputs,
published version, and any output already retained. Reuse is conditional on
valid checkpoints and unchanged relevant inputs. A retry does not guarantee
that a provider's internal request continues from the point of failure.

If access is refused, confirm the signed-in email and invitation with the
author. Copying diagnostic details is a local preparation step; it does not
automatically contact the author or share your files.
