Growth
About Kaitoi
Kaitoi is an AI-native orchestration platform for creative professionals. Where most tools either bolt AI onto a fixed feature set or wrap a chat box around a single workflow, Kaitoi is agentic across the entire surface and self-evolving. Users extend the software itself in conversation, in real time.
A single project flows between a conversational moodboard, a node graph, a workflow view, a storyboard and a timeline, all interconnected, and carries a production from first idea to rough cut that exports cleanly into professional editors. It also plugs into existing pipelines through API, MCP, a built-in local inference service, and an automatic recipe system that turns HuggingFace or GitHub model repos into portable, repeatable workflows.
Our users span creative professionals adopting AI, developers prototyping AI pipelines, technical artists building production tools, and small studios automating real work.
The product is strong and genuinely different. The job is to find the people who need it and get them to try it.
The role
You will own growth end to end (strategy, channels, content, community) and report directly to the founder. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to reach creative and technical audiences, and who is equally comfortable shaping narrative, making content, running experiments, and speaking directly with users.
At its core, this role is about storytelling and distribution. The platform is unusually visual, technical, and workflow-driven. Your job is to help the right people see what is possible with it.
You will tell us where to spend our attention. We will give you the autonomy to go do it.
What you will do
- Own the top of the funnel: who we are talking to, where they spend time, and what makes them try Kaitoi
- Build a presence on the channels that matter for our audience (short-form video, X / Twitter, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, newsletters, niche communities) and figure out which actually work for us
- Plan and ship campaigns around launches, features, and showcase work, including landing pages, demos, posts, educational content, and short videos
- Develop narrative and positioning around workflows, creators, projects, and product capabilities
- Identify and activate creators, partners, and communities who can amplify what we are doing
- Stand up the basics (analytics, attribution, lightweight experimentation, waitlist and lifecycle email) so we can tell what is working
- Give the founder and product team direct feedback on what users actually respond to
What you bring
- Demonstrated growth of a product, brand, creator, or community. Show us numbers and the work behind them
- Deep fluency in social and creator channels relevant to creative or developer audiences; you understand the difference between a piece of content that goes viral and one that converts
- Ability to write and produce yourself (copy, post drafts, simple short-form video edits) without waiting on someone else
- Strong instincts for storytelling, positioning, and finding the angle that makes a product click
- Comfort with analytics, lightweight experimentation, and basic SEO
- Strong taste. You can look at a feature or workflow and immediately see how to make it resonate
- Comfort operating without a playbook and figuring out what actually lands
Nice to have
- Personal audience or built one for someone else
- Experience marketing creative tools, AI/ML products, or developer platforms
- Familiarity with creative-AI culture (ComfyUI, indie filmmakers, technical artists, agentic workflows)
- Hands-on with lightweight tooling (Plausible / PostHog, Beehiiv / Substack, basic ad platforms)
How we work
- Fully remote, global. Async-first written communication.
- Small team. You will work directly with the founder and product team.
- Quarterly bets, weekly experiments, honest measurement.
