When you ask Kaitoi to search or read the public web, we send the search query, target URL, requested result or page limits, and selected crawl options to the service needed to perform that request. When Firecrawl is enabled, Firecrawl processes this information. In degraded mode, search queries are sent to DuckDuckGo and page URLs are sent directly to the destination website.
Do not submit secrets or private URLs through these tools. Kaitoi does not send your browser cookies or saved browser storage to Firecrawl; authenticated browser snapshots use Kaitoi's separate browser service when that feature is enabled.
